Profile

We
are a family, who have been into Henna Business for the last 4 generations.
Earlier the henna was produced in the out skirts of Delhi in place called
Faridabad, Haryana. This place was known the world over as the best source
of quality henna. Due to urbanization, the land was converted from fields
into colonies and as such the production of henna was shifted to Sojat in
Rajasthan, where climatic conditions similar to Faridabad exist. Sojat
produces the largest quantity of the finest quality henna in terms of colour
and conditioning both for use in India & abroad. Incidentally, henna is
produced in limited quantities only in few other countries like Sudan,
Yemen, Pakistan, Egypt & Iran and as such India is the biggest source of
henna for the world.

Why Herbal Based Hair Colours?
The life style in the last two decades
has undergone a tremendous change due to influence of T.V., Films and Print
Media. The hair colours, which was an insignificant product until a few
years back emerged as the most essential fashion accessory since the
nineties. The hair colour market is dominated by cosmetic companies mostly
marketing chemical based colours. It is an acknowledged fact that all
chemicals have some side effects, compelling more discerning customers to
explore herbal based substitutes.
Since henna had been used as a hair colorant and decorative medium from
time immemorial; it was natural that scientists and cosmetologist made use
of henna as a chemical substitute for making hair colours. Thus, the henna
based colours emerged as a good viable and economical substitute for purely
chemical based colours
